Lab of Active Citizens Visited Poltava Region

On 20 February Media Law Institute in partnership with the Reanimation Package of Reforms held the first of three modules of regional trainings of the Lab of Active Citizens in Poltava region.

The participants of the anticorruption training have learnt about a row of notions: the definition of the corruption and its types, effective anticorruption instruments and ways of preventing corruption, anticorruption legislation and governmental bodies, a request for information as a tool to control the authorities, etc.

 

The participants had the opportunity to listen to various experts: :

  • Yevgen Yankevych, the coordinator of the program Nationwide Civil Organisation “Committee of Voters of Ukraine” in Poltava region;

  • Vitaliy Zhuhay, the regional coordinator of the project “Lab of Active Citizens”

  • Ihor Rozkladay, the lawyer of Media Law Institute;

  • Illia Tsybulskyi, the co-chairperson of the civil society organisation “Peredvyzhnyk”

  • Lyudmyla Hudz and Anatoliy Melezhyk, the journalists of the Hromadske TV in Poltava.
