North East Europe Rounds of Price Media Law Moot Court

Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law announces the start of the registration for the third North East Europe Regional Rounds of the Price Media Law Moot Court Competition, which will take place from the 14th to the 16th December, 2018 in Kyiv. This competition is the qualifying round for the International Rounds, held annually at the University of Oxford.

Regional rounds of the competition are being held for the third time by the Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law as the official partner of the Price Media Law Moot Court Program. Organisational partners of CEDEM are the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Kyiv-Mohyla Moot Court Society.

Price Media Law Moot Court Competition is an international student legal competition, which is a simulation of a court proceeding. Regional Rounds are judged by Ukrainian and foreign lawyers specializing in media law. In previous years, the judges included the professors of University of Oxford, the University of Edinburgh and the University of Vienna, the lawyers of the European Court of Human Rights and the best participants of International Rounds of the competition.

The competition is open for law students from Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Estonia, Poland, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
