23 December 2015 the activists of the Sumy region have participated in the one-day training on anticorruption methods, organized and held by the Lab of Active Citizens. In the form of lectures and practical exercises, the methods of counteracting and preventing corruption were discussed. The participants of the first regional model have learnt how to control government bodies effectively with the help of formulating information inquiries, and how to use state and public registries of in fighting corruption.
“Self-organisation and regularity create the preconditions for success in combatting corruption,” – stated the lawyer and expert of regulatory and regiment policies, the head of Civic Expert Committee Hanna Honcharenko.
The participants are looking forward to new training sessions of the next module.
