Release of “Lazarenko’smoney” – the campaign, initiated by civic organizations with the aim to releaseto Ukrainian peoples 250 millions of US dollars that were owned by ex-PremierMinister of Ukraine Pavlo Lazarenko. Today these money are frozen on theaccounts in Switzerland, Lithuania, Antigua, Lichtenstein.

Civic organizations ofUkraine proposed Department of Justice of the USA to release mentioned moneythrough setting up independent charity foundation in Ukraine with internationalsupervision board, and not to the Government of Ukraine.

Media Law Institute upheldinitiative of civic organizations of Ukraine and signed official letter ofagreement in participation in this campaign.
