Expertsfrom the Media Law Institute did observation of the presidentialelection in Ukraine on 25 May 2014 for the first time. It is a new direction of organization’s activity that wasprovided by amendments to the MLI Statute (Charter) in March this year, what followed by the procedure of obtaining permission at the Central Election Commission(CEC Decree № 112).

Observation covered 9polling stations in Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk, namely ones inShevchenko, Darnytskiy and Pecherskiy districts of Kyiv city, as well as TED № 83and № 84 in Ivano-Frankivsk city.
