Director of the Media Law Institute introduced the practice of Ukraine at the expert seminar “The right of national minorities on freedom of expression in the digital age”. Seminar was held on December 7, 2012 in Amsterdam.

The event was attended by 22 experts – representatives of the OSCE, the European Parliament, the Council of Europe, NGOs and universities in Europe.

The seminar participants discussed the problems of freedom of expression in the digital age, media of national minorities, hate-speech on the Internet, cultural and linguistic diversity in the digital media and social networks.

The event was organized by one of the world’s largest research centers in the field of information law – the Institute for Information Law (IViR), the University of Amsterdam and the Office of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities.
