The updated electronic version of the StateRegister broadcasting is already available on the website of the NationalTelevision and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine. Larisa Mudrak at the briefing said that the register meets therequirements of several laws of Ukraine, first of all – “On Access toPublic Information”, as well as the base – “On Television and Radio Broadcasting” and “On the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council ofUkraine.”
She stated that “such a move makes transparent the functioning of bothdomestic broadcasters and the National Council.”
It`s worth noting that in the updated registrythe access to data on the TV organizations has been rather simplified, also ithas been supplemented by information about the owners, channel logos, program concepts,personnel supervisors etc. It was promised to fix permanently all sorts of changesto licenses, which are made in accordance with the decisions taken by theNational Council.
One can find the registry under the menu item “State Register”. TVand radio broadcasters in it are divided into “national” and “regional”,which provides data on the regional level.

It`s ultimate goal is to assist the National Council inimproving its official Web resource to provide transparency and accessibilityof information.
