The “Stop Censorship” movement disapproves the cease of the ATR, the only world TV-channel broadcasting on Crimean Tatar language, and other media-holdings in the Crimea. The reason was the refusal of the occupation authorities to provide the broadcasting of the Crimean Tatar media, which caused the cease of the broadcasting of the Crimean TV-channel ATR, the radio station “Meydan” and the children TV-channel “Lale”, notwithstanding meeting of all the conditions of the occupants and submitting all the necessary documents long before the timing.

We, the “Stop Censorship” movement members, express our support for the Crimean colleagues and appeal to the Ukrainian authorities to take action to ensure the informational rights of the Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians, living on the territory of the Crimea. One of the possible decisions may be the assistance in creating the Crimean Tatar broadcasting from Kyiv.
