Lawyer, coordinator, and speaker of numerous educational projects and initiatives. Expert in improving the legal environment for civil society organizations, as well as in the field of public health — particularly road safety.

Olesia has over 15 years of experience in project management and advocacy. She leads initiatives supported by USAID, the EU, Sida, UNESCO, IMS and other international partners. She also has previous experience as a lawyer in multinational and legal firms.

Olesia joined the CEDEM team (then the Institute of Media Law) in September 2015 as a Project Manager and Lawyer.

In 2023, she was recognized by the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI) with the Women Mobilize Women Award for empowering women in transport and was featured in the anniversary edition Remarkable Feminist Voices in Transport (2023).

In 2018, she was included in the Kyiv Post “Top 30 Under 30” ranking.

She holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University (2013) and a Master’s degree in Law from the Academy of Advocacy of Ukraine (2012).

Alumna of the Aspen Institute seminar “Justice, Law, and Society” (2019) and participant of the Open World Program (Congressional Office for International Leadership, 2018).

She also continuously advances her professional development through short-term executive programs at Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) and Kyiv-Mohyla Business School (kmbs).
