Pavlo’s expertise lies in international and European protection of human rights in the digital society, social media governance, and cybersecurity.
His work at CEDEM focuses on social media policies and challenges, including disinformation, fraud, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, AI-generated content, and cyber threats. He conducts trainings about social media policies for media professionals.
In addition to his work at CEDEM, Pavlo has worked as a cybersecurity consultant for the Nadiyno.org project and as a Tech Advisor for International Media Support (IMS) on Moldova.
In his academic capacity, Pavlo is a PhD student in the Law and Digital Technologies program at Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic. He graduated with a degree in International Relations from Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University (Chernivtsi, Ukraine) and the Budapest Business School (Budapest, Hungary). He received IILLM in European Public Law at the Academy of European Public Law (Athens, Greece).
Pavlo has participated in numerous international conferences, forums, and research projects in Ukraine, Austria, Greece, Poland, Hungary, and Germany, published articles in academic journals and media, and received several academic awards in Ukraine, Germany, and Greece.
