Olena Spesyvtseva
A lawyer and expert in copyright law, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of EU Law of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, lawyer at the NGO “Ukrainian Agency of Copyright and Related Rights,” attorney-at-law, and Doctor of Philosophy. Has experience working in judicial institutions and private legal practice.
Author and co-author of numerous analytical, methodological, and academic works in the areas of intellectual property law, media law, and EU integration. Trainer of educational workshops for media and content creators, author of the online course “Copyright Law for Journalists and Content Creators” and the guide “Copyright Roadmap for Content Creators”.
Joined the CEDEM in October 2022 as a junior lawyer.
Holds a degree in international law from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (Kharkiv, Ukraine) and Mykolas Romeris University (Vilnius, Lithuania). In 2024, defended the PhD dissertation on “Legal Regulation of Unified Patent Protection in the EU”.
