What’s waiting for participants?
On October 24, 2025, as part of UNESCO’s Global Media and Information Literacy Week, we will gather over 100 young leaders from across Ukraine at Youth MIL & AI Day.
This unique networking event is organized by the Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU), in partnership with UNESCO, and with the support of Japan.
Together we will discuss:
- why critical thinking and media & information literacy matter more than ever;
- how algorithms shape our information environment;
- whether media and information literacy can serve as a “vaccine” against manipulation and disinformation;
- how to use AI beneficially and with minimal risks in education;
- how to enhance cognitive skills and critical thinking;
- which competencies will be key for career growth in the age of AI;
- when AI can be helpful, and when it risks diminishing your uniqueness.
Date & time: October 24, 9:30–18:00
Format: offline
