During the last week, approximately 125 activists of the Lab in five regions have acquired theoretical knowledge and practical recommendations on combatting corruption locally.

Three main topics under the guidance of regional trainers of the Lab were covered and discussed at the training:

 

• Access to financial information: analysis of declarations of the public official and the MPs;
• Detecting corruption schemes in public procurement, in the energy sector and in housing and communal services;
• Particularities of journalistic investigations.

 

The gained knowledge and skills are relevant and useful for making anticorruption cases for the announced contest https://cedem.org.ua/events/contest_lab_2016/
