Today, on November 4, 2015, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted on first reading a draft law on foreign broadcasting system of Ukraine (№ 2334), prepared by the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.
The draft law provides the establishment of the state enterprise “Foreign Broadcasting Company Ukraine ” Ukraine Tomorrow “(INTU) based on state TV” World Service “Ukrainian Television and Radio Broadcasting” (UTR) and Limited Liability Company “TV Bank” (BTB). INTU activities should be conducted within the goals of protecting national interests outside Ukraine, forming and maintaining the positive image of Ukraine in the world by operative, unbiased information concerning the events in Ukraine, official domestic and foreign policy and position of the state and meet the information needs of foreign audiences, including diaspora.
