On October 28, 2015 Irpin City Court considered two lawsuits against the journalist of the public movement CHESNO filed by the political party “Novi Oblychchya” and the mayor of Irpin Vladimir Karplyuk. The plaintiff demanded to refute allegedly false information, namely the article Novi Oblychchya – Threat to Kyiv and to the Region.
The Court ruled that the journalist must not be held responsible for the article that was critical towards local authorities and deemed of importance for the voters.
