CEDEM, in cooperation with The Ukrainians, has created the audio podcast Evolution Pill. The audio podcast was created as part of the Civil Society Sectoral Support Activity. Stories that show that active and responsible citizens are able to get mobilized to solve critical problems not only during crises or wars.

This is a podcast about important social changes that have developed our society and made us bigger people, that is, more human.

In this podcast, we want to say that a citizen can (and should) change their country, city, community, or environment for the better.

We want people listening to this episode to at least think about reposting the post “Who ordered the murder of Katia Handziuk?”  That is, to turn those listeners into responsible and caring citizens.

Ultimately, we want to bring like-minded people together and get them join appropriate NGOs and charities in order to drive change.

This podcast will tell the stories of social change through the lens of responsible and caring citizens or institutions that promoted these ideas, encountered resistance, but in the end got their way. As a result of such changes, society got democratized, and human rights became more protected.

On October 31, the first episode of the Evolution Pill podcast will be released, namely “What Humans Owe to Nature”, which will be hosted by Dmytro Simonov, a science journalist. 

In this episode, we will discuss why the ancient history of Easter Island resembles what is happening around the world today, how humans, formerly the kings of the Earth, turned into its debtor. Why we need to pay back our debts to the Earth as soon as possible for our own good. And we will also talk about those who are already doing this.
