August 22, 2022

These days, the community of CSO mentors has been reflecting on what is the key feature of mentoring for NGOs in Ukraine, how to help mentees increase their impact on their communities, what the nuances of creating a personal expert brand are, and how to communicate one’s achievements.

During the three Mentorship Programs implemented as part of the Project “Ukraine Civil Society Sectoral Support Activity” implemented by the Initiative Center to Support Social Action “Ednannia” in partnership with the Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research (UCIPR) and Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law, a total of 34 mentors joined the mentoring process.

“Everyone has their own unique way, everyone faces their unique challenges. Every mentoring path is a life. The lives of two organizations that have agreed to go along this path together,” says Olena Matviichuk, Mentoring Program Coordinator.

Mentors and mentors who participated in the August 18-20 community meeting also developed their own vision of further development of mentorship as a tool to help Ukrainian CSOs grow.
