From July 15 to 17, 2020, the second training block of the Second Module of the Mentorship Program was held to strengthen the advocacy capabilities of civil society organizations from different parts of Ukraine.
During these two days, 15 mentee organizations worked on their advocacy plans, together with Olena Matviichuk, Mentorship Program Coordinator.
With Yuliia Solokha, an advocacy expert, our participants learned how to draft a communication strategy, what it should contain, and how to take into account different target audiences when preparing key and specific messages.
This block of training is the last of the Program. In the future, the participants together with their mentors will finalize advocacy plans and try to implement them. We wish them success and look forward to the first results.
The Mentorship Program is implemented by the Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law (CEDEM) within the Ukraine Civil Society Sectoral Support Activity, which is implemented in cooperation with the Consortium of the Initiative Center to Support Social Action “Ednannia” and Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research (UCIPR) with the sincere support of the American people through United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
